"How are you?" - when to ask, when not to ask?

When to ask "How are you?":

when meeting someone I care about or are concerned about, when I am ready to listen, pray, help, invest more into that person, especially when meeting people, who have shared with me challenges of their life, and which I accompany in their walk through it.

When not to ask "How are you?":

When I have no time to listen or no strength to care, when I have no help and no solution to offer, when I see that the person is hurting or depressed.

boldness to speak up

The certainty of some people proclaiming their beliefs which do not match with mine, should neither intimidate me nor cause me to doubt, but should cause me to speak up, express my disagreement and question them how they derived at their belief.

False Gospel and false prophecies

harvest time to separate the wheat from the tares and for the latter to be burned.

"Prince of Egypt" & healing through judgement

important lessons for the Kingdom of G-d and the understanding of His heart and actions.

But how to relate?

The relationship would have to be rebuilt, as there is no foundation for trust left. But she is wanting to escape again, it seems, this time through death.

And only now, when looking forward to die, she had the courage to meet me, trying to fix her bad conscience. It hurts, again.

What weight is there to her words, if it is not backed by actions? Is there love without courage? Doesn't love drive out fear?

connection between heart, theology and truth

In order to follow the Truth, heart and mind need to submit and be ready to be changed and formed by the truth. Heart and mind are not the "Head", but only important parts of the body. Yeshua, the Truth in person, is the Head. Trust and surrender, without rebellion, to be truely teachable by Him.

Hearing His voice

A season of correction in my personal relationship with the Lord. Uprooting rebellion, letting pain and confusion expand my heart and mind, excepting it trusting while continuing to learn from Him and walk with Him. Grace needed.

switch of outward identity & inner healing

learning to be a woman and how to balance taking care of myself and showing beauty with modesty.

dealing with harmful responses

When fear creeps in, when the body starts to feel uncomfortable - this feeling upon opening the response to a bold email, expecting to get attacked, accused, belittled, humbled, degrated and criticized, blamed and rejected - all of these harmful and ungodly responses should deserve a standard answer informing the sender about acceptable ways to express disagreement, question the content and offer constructive criticism.

Focus on the Kingdom of G-d

The main message Yeshua preached wasn't salvation, but the Kingdom of G-d.

That is also what He sent the disciples to announce wherever they went, and He gave them authority to heal the sick, drive out the demons, raise the dead, etc., because that is what happens when the Kingdom of G-d arrives. The healings are evidence of the new Kingdom reality.

And we are called to enter it!

I need this reminder from time to time...

Thanks for letting me hit the bottom!

Hitting the bottom of experiential horror is a good experience. After having faced the fears new hope and insights can arise.

What difference it makes when getting a glimpse of the possible result and new tool at hand after having overcome!
Having hit the bottom doesn't mean having overcome yet, but it releases the focus from the bottom to strategies for overcoming and frees strength to take the first steps towards it.

Thank G-d for His provision and protection at the very difficult day of yesterday!

No coffee for me

Another mistake that shouldn't be repeated: Coffee and other strong substances disturb the spiritual/intuitive senses, cause added tension and confuse the natural equilibrium of the body, thus leading to mistakes, hasty actions, confused judgement and resulting fears...

Having to remember to be strong and say No even when it is hard to refuse the offer, because the price is too high, in most cases.

at home within myself

Searching to be at home within myself, in G-ds presence.

Returning to take my space within myself, with every cell responsive to G-d's presence and letting Him fully dwell within me, in mind, heart, spirit, body, everything. Being at home, at my eternal home.

Yeshua went home to the Father after the separation experienced because of our sins.

The Kingdom of G-d is near, right among us, and we know the way to the Father, don't we?

remedy for tiredness, boredom and indifference

Psalm 116, a great psalm to start with when lacking desire to spend time with G-d, read His word, pray and praise Him!

rest or fight?

When being sick, calling for prayer of the elders is the biblical way. I wonder about feeling sick or just weak. When to rest, when to force myself to get up and pray and praise G-d until being well and strengthened? It seems that the will and readyness to get up make the decision whether to rest or to get up. When the will is lacking, is that a sign of depression and do I need to call for prayer? Or is it just G-d's will for me to rest until the will to get up, pray, fight and praise returns?

Post to be continued, question in process ... Comments welcome!
